Back to Acadia: Carriage Roads

Today, at around 4, we drove 20 minutes to a part of Acadia that was basically a whole system of scenic, gravel roads, that, to this day, only allow carriages, pedestrians, and bikes to go on. We must have walked a mile or more to a couple of cool bridges over creeks, one of which was right by a cool waterfall. We walked around the bridges, then we walked back to the car.

  1. Love the stonework of the bridges. The streams obviously get some large waterflow. And the vegetation—coastal. Lots to observe. Thanks.
