Bar Harbor

Today, at around four, we drove into Bar Harbor, which is a cute little tourist town that is about 15 minutes from our campground, and right on the doorstep of Acadia. After getting out of the car, we walked down the main street by a lot of souvenir shops, and cute restaurants, we found what we needed in the shops, then we stopped at ‘Choco-Latte,’ a cute cafe at the midpoint of our souvenir shop adventure, then we continued down the street back to our car, stopping at more shops on the way.

Tomorrow will be our last day in Acadia, and our last day by the ocean. On Saturday, we will say goodbye to salt water, and drive to Niagara Falls, stopping for an overnight on the way. I am afraid that there will be a lot of lasts coming up in the next couple of weeks.

  1. Glad to hear that Bar Harbor wasn’t a bar! Never heard of a latte that you eat. Sad to leave the ocean. Lots of lasts coming up but also more firsts! Enjoy the Falls!
