Thanksgiving

We had a very nice Thanksgiving, except for not being able to spend it with family. I guess I have a lot to be thankful for because, after all, one year ago I never would have guessed that I would be spending thanksgiving in Palm Springs on a year long RV trip. We started of the day with some dessert prep, then we ate lunch and went to the pool. at the pool I came up with a game that I like to call noodle ball. It is almost exactly like baseball but with a pool noodle instead of a bat; and a squishy pool ball instead of a baseball. After the pool we started dinner preparations. Our thanks giving menu consisted of turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, canned cranberry jelly, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, gravy, rolls, pandowdy, and brownies. It was all very tasty, besides the potatoes, because I don’t like potatoes. After severely overeating, we went on a walk, I have no clue how I survived the walk without dropping dead. I will always remember the time I had Thanksgiving in 90 degree weather.

Noodle ball.

  1. So a new water game has been born! Hope we can play it in Az. without injuring any old people in the pool!
Always amazes me how many you can get in one photo and how much food you can get on a small table. We all missed you all as well and are very thankful for you and all of our fam.
Going to the movie Wonder today. I understand you read the book. Try and watch the story on 20/20 which was on a wk ago today. It’s is about the real boy and features him and his family, really good! Love, mimi
