Today we drove from San Angelo to Edgewood, New Mexico right byAlbuquerque. It was only a eight hour drive, but it was torture because Rose was screaming the whole way. I spent most of the time reading “The Maze Runner” (which I would recommend if you are looking for a good read.) and wishing i had brought earplugs. When we got there we were greeted Β by a cloud clearly hiding a huge U.F.O. Later that night lightning started flashing from inside it as it abducted the minds of the people below it.Tomorrow we are driving another eight hours to a campground forty minuets from the Grand Canyon.
Top five things I did in Edgewood
I don’t think i even did five things in Edgewood:)
I think you have a future in writing. Sooo funny!I felt your pain with a crying baby for 8 hrs. I’d be a basket case! First I’d feel sorry for her and for the other 7 hrs and 45 min’s I’d feel sorry for me. don’t think you’d better share the part about dim-witted people in Albuquerque in your book. I’m even more dim-witted because I can’t spell their towns name. Glad your family didn’t get struck by lightening or you’d all be dim-witted too (love that word)! Happy travels tomorrow. Hope you find the Grand Canyon worth the trouble of getting there! Ha!Love you all, mimi
PS we are in KC, leaving tomorrow, Sun.Got to see Joe’s apt. and Colin’s dorm, they only live 2 blocks apart.
