This afternoon, we drove to Tom’s Thumb, a hike that has been recommended to us by multiple sources. Tom’s Thumb is a 4.4 mile out and back hike with a 1,400 foot elevation gain. It was a moderate hike on the way up, and at the top was a very large rock that looked like the upper half of Tom’s thumb. The way down was, as usual, way easier, and we made it down just after sunset. Overall, it was a fun hike.
My goodness, that looks like a challenging hike! but also very interesting!
You might have the World Record of # of miles hiking for one family at the end of your trip!
