Carlsbad Caverns National Park

Today, as planned, we spent the first half of the day 750 feet underground in Carlsbad Caverns. We drove our RV to the Caverns, and after parking, we went into the visitor center. we then took the elevator down to the bottom of the chambers. We hiked a 1.5 mile hike around the Big Room, and saw some really cool rock formations. Carlsbad Caverns exceeded my expectations, and was much bigger than I had ever imagined, there are over 30 miles of tunnels that have been discovered so far, though most of then are not open to the public, we only hiked around 3 miles. It was a unique experience, and definetly worth the time.
